It is hard to believe that the Permit currently remains unclassified as a gamefish in the U.S., even though data shows that more than 70% of permit caught in Florida are caught for sport.

Now, we are not scientists, nor do we claim to know much about anything, but what we do know is that we care deeply for this species, and there are many people out there who feel the same way. We also know that the only wat to get something done is to do something. So we are...

Raising awareness of an issue is the first step, and there are many ways to do it. Presenting facts, figures, and statistics can all get the point across, but is there a more effective way? We think we may have found it...

Our plan is to assemble the most powerful crew we can and SHOW the world why WE care about the permit. Together we can prove that the permit is more than just a GAMEFISH, it is the apex of the term!

We will be holed up at an undisclosed location in 2010, getting it done, and invite other like minded individuals to help us catch, tag, experience, and celebrate the Permit.
